Heritage Leather Straps
This handmade strap pays homage to Leica's original leather straps, with a slender and simple design that suites the atmosphere of classic cameras. This strap is for sale to customers placing an order together with camera repairs.
The leather is "Tochigi Leather", a Japanese vegetable tanned genuine leather, dyed with aniline (a thin, transparent coating). It is made from a single piece of leather with no seams. The double ring is made of "CURA" brass double ring, which has been polished to a smooth finish, making it gentle on the camera.
Since each leather strap is handmade in-house by our craftsmen, we are unable to mass produce them. We only sell these straps to customers who have requested camera repairs. Thank you for your understanding.
Since this product is made of natural leather, there will be stains, wrinkles, scratches, etc. that are inherent to living organisms. There will also be differences in color and finish due to the processing of dyeing and handcraft. The color fading and texture changes with use will also be different for each strap, so we hope you will use it for a long time and enjoy the changes in the leather.
